How long does it take?

We are offering flight training including a theoretical course to obtain a US FAA license or a Costa Rican license. According to FAA and Costa Rican regulations the minimum theoretical instruction require a course of 30 hours and the practical introduction of 25 hours from which 20 hours are with instructor and a minimum of 5 hours solo under supervision.

We offer you flight training in the moment at 3 different locations in Costa Rica. Sámara, Tamarindo y Aranjuez.

Do I need a medical?

No, you need a driver license if you want to fly in the US.

Yes, you need a medical class 2 in Costa Rica. There are several doctor aproved by the DGAC and we can help you with a list of their directions and phone numbers.
