According to Rac 103 the minimum theoretical instruction require a course of 10 hours and the practical introduction of 20 hours from which 15 hours are with instructor and a minimum of 5 hours solo under supervision. Holder of valid pilot license

If you hold a valid private pilot license or more you don´t have to make the theoretical test. You have to make the practical hours depending on the type of Ultra light you want to fly and have to make a check ride....
